Christmas Goodies

It has been a while since I last posted. I had a bad fall on 30 Sep which required 5 stitches to my right elbow!
I could not use my right hand and I felt so handicapped! Thank God, the stitches has been removed on 14 Oct and I can bake again. :)

Although I still cannot bend my arm properly because of the discomfort and tightness around the elbow, I still managed to decorate this batch of ggb folks & cuppy cakes in Christmas mood for a friend's friend. :)

Little Charmaine - the feisty princess

I am deeply saddened by Little Charmaine's plight. As a mother, I emphatise & I sympathise.. But are we going to stop at that? Just by sympatising can't help them at all. Therefore, my cell group and I decided to do a bake sale to raise funds for her. We trust that big-hearted people will contibute generously to Lil Char & her family. At this time, we can offer her prayers, Father in Heaven, have mercy on Lil Char, hear our prayers - pleading & intercepting for her, Lord. Give her family peace, grant them strength and help Lil Char fight this monster!
Send your Angels and guard her, be her comforter and healer Lord. We need a miracle, Lord, even then, we will always trust and remain in You.

In case, you do not know how gingerbread taste like, they are moist, soft, a little bready and very aromatic!!
This is a traditional recipe that calls for unsulphured molasses - Molasses is a thick, sweet dark brown syrup made from sugar cane.
